One person was killed in the wee hours of Wednesday as police exchanged fire with armed robbers who tried to rob at Lead Oil fuel station at Kazinga, Bweyogerere in Wakiso District.
Four others of the robbers were arrested alongside two of the staff of the fuel station that were on duty to help police with investigations.
It is alleged that the station was attacked at around 3 am. The robbers stole the gun that the security guard was using, which police says they have recovered.
