Students at Makerere University from Kasese District have once again proved that they are not only good at Academics but good as well at Music, Dance and Drama (MDD).
In the Saturday Makerere University inter-association Cultural gala, the Kasese Students under the Kasese Makerere Students Association (KAMASA), were able to triumph over the several student associations at Uganda's top learning institution to scoop this year's trophy.
They garnered 549 points against their closest contenders Nkobazambogo who garnered 548 points.
This year's win makes it three consecutive wins for the Bakonzo (Rwenzururu) students at the Institution after the 2011 and 2012 wins of the same shield.
Every year, the Institution holds the cultural gala to enable students grow their skills in both Academic and co-curricular activities.
