Define Money Laundering.

Money Laundering is the process of making dirty money clean. Its where an individual uses money generated from illegal activities to operate a legal business venture.

The perpetrators of this vice get money from drug trafficking, human trafficking, bribery, corruption and so, in order to avoid being apprehended, they invest it in a legal activity or even some times wire it to bank accounts of other family members mainly through the available means of money transfer services that at times are not so strict on establishing the sources of these monies. The money is then used to operate a legally recognized business that generates revenue to the country.
