Kabaka's Birthday Run on Tomorrow

To show solidarity and love to his subjects, Buganda's King Ronald Mwenda Mutebi II will tomorrow morning flag off the Kabaka Birthday Run at Lubiri Mengo, a charity run aimed at raising funds to fight the deadly Fistula in Women.

Aitel Uganda and Vision Group's vernacular newspaper, Bukedde are the key sponsors of the event, expected to attract thousands of participants.

His Majesty Ronald Mwenda Mutebi will flag off the run.

Airtel injected 100m as well as Bukedde. 

There will be a 21 kilometer race besides 5 and 10km races on a course that will after flag-off at Lubiri have participants running past the kingdom’s historic sites like Bulange, Kabaka’s lake and the Kasubi royal tombs.
