And here comes the New Year, 2014

The World will tonight kiss good bye to the year 2013 and usher in the New Year, 2014, which many are looking forward to, to fulfill all their unfulfilled goals set for 2013.

The new year across the globe is welcomed in style, with musical concerts, fireworks, proposals to loved ones, fulfillment of pledges and others.

Uganda will be joining the rest of the world in celebrating the ushering in of the year 2014.

Prayers have been organised by the different religious denominations.

Nambole Stadium, Nakivubo Stadium, Kololo airstrip, Mt Sion prayer Center, Bukalango, and other churches will host the night's prayers as thousands welcome the New Year.

Several concerts have as well been organised for those who love to party. Sheraton Hotel, Kampala will host the annual UG Mix party, that features all Ugandan musicians at the Sheraton Hotel gardens.

The Kabaka's Palace at Lubiri, Mengo will be hosting the annual CBS radio Enkuuka y'omwaka, that too features key Ugandan artists.

The King of Buganda, His Majesty Ronald Mwenda Mutebi II will be the main celebrant at the fete. He will hold a symbolic key to open the year 2014 and then address his subjects on the Kingdom's projects, planned for 2014.
