Zanzibar have claimed the top slot of group A of the 2013 CECAFA Challenge Cup after edging South Sudan 2-1 in a game played at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Island Country was able to penetrate the South Sudan defense and secured the much needed win against Africa's newest Country.
Zanzibar goes top with 3 points, followed by Ethiopia, hosts Kenya in third place and South Sudan in fouth place.
Both Kenya and Ethiopia have 1 point each.
