The Invasion of the Kenyan National Assembly building by Protesters.

Due to the demand of Kenyan Members of Parliament to have their salaries increased, Kenyans took to the streets and protested the move calling it "Greedy and Selfish character" by the MPs. 


They blocked the main entrance to the National Assembly and brought in live pigs to play from the Assembly compound. 

The pigs were to represent the MPs as they have now been termed as "MPigs". Some of the pigs had names of Members of Parliament written on them.

The protest was with the theme "Occupy Parliament".

UPDATE: Protesters in Kenya have released a pig and about a dozen piglets outside parliament to show their anger at newly elected MPs demanding higher salaries. The animals licked blood spilled by a protester outside the parliamentary gates in the capital, Nairobi in an unusual demo aimed at portraying MPs as greedy.
Kenyans today took LIVE Pigs to the Kenyan Parliament in protest against their MPs salary increment demands. Some of the pigs were written on "MPigs" ........these guys are real indeed.....
