It was all pomp and glamour at the Inaugural HiPipo Music Awards (HMA) held on Feb 9 2013 at theatre Labonita as Uganda's musicians awaited to see if they were to be recoginised by the public for their music.
The event brought in so many surprises as many music industry big names missed on the awards list and the unexpected made it to the list. The day's biggest surprise winners was Emron and Sizzaman who won Best Gospel Song for thier Song BodyGuard and YOUNG ZEE of Swangz Avenue who walked away with Best Young/Teen Artist.
