How to pass Exams.

Preparing to do your exams which will switch you to another level, here are some tips on how to pass these exams,

Know the syllabus and the format of setting the questions. It will help you to read only the relevant content.

Be prepared always. Rush hour readings and consultations will dilute whatever content you already had in your mind so earlier preparations are of an advantage as it will leave your mind settled and ready for the exams.

Read and understand the question before you start to attempt it to avoid answering it wrongly.

Highlight the main terms in a question. Terms like explain, elaborate, discuss, outline need to be understood to ascertain what they require of you.

Outline the points you are going to use as answers for that particular question. This helps you not to forget any of the points you had in mind. It also helps you to recall some more as you go on attempting the question.

Answer all questions you are asked to attempt. If the instruction requires you to attempt 4 questions, try as much as you can to attempt all of them. This is because all the questions carry equal weight and all contribute to your score.

Omit no part of the questions attempted. Most questions always have parts like a, b, c and all contribute to your final score so leaving out any part of the question, will mean losing some marks allocated to the question.

Give concise and precise answers in-order to finish within the time allocated. Being too wordy may not earn you a bonus as it all adds up to the same allocated marks.

Review your answers after finishing to ascertain if the answers you have given are the right answers to the question you attempted.

Think beyond what you have in your notes. Some times, you need to think and use general knowledge to and on the answers you have.
